(IowaStormCenter.com) — Storm system to deliver showers and thunderstorms after Christmas.
A pacific system will move out of the Intermountain west late this week with the onset of our next storm system. This will bring a surface low that will curve up through the plains on Friday, December 27th with an increase in rain over the forecast area.
The system will have the potential for thunderstorms out there over southeast Iowa with a widespread 0.10-0.40″ of rain, locally higher amounts.
