Good Saturday morning! We are closely watching a system that will bring accumulating snow to the area Sunday morning through Sunday evening. We should start to see snow increase across western Iowa as early as 4-5 AM Sunday morning and this will gradually press east through the day. Snow should be ending across western Iowa by early Sunday afternoon and eventually exiting eastern Iowa by later Sunday night. This wave will offer up a quick 2-6″ snow especially across north central to northeast Iowa. Warmer temperatures are expected to follow on Monday along with gusty southwesterly winds.
