Good Friday morning! The main focus is on a few different rounds of snow now through the weekend. The first minor wave will work across southern Iowa today and I do think it’s possible this wave can under perform in terms of snowfall accumulation but a quick trace-2″ snow is possible just south of Des Moines points into southeast Iowa. The more moderate wave of snow will come in on Sunday and exit Sunday evening. This round will bring light to moderate snow accumulations with the highest snowfall accumulation expected across the northeast part of Iowa.
