Iowa Forecast: Tracking accumulating snow late tonight through Thursday…mild temperatures next week.

We will see high temperatures in the 20s and 30s today with a breezy northwest wind at 10-20 and gusts 20-30 MPH. Snow will begin to increase late tonight across southwest Iowa and spread east across southern Iowa generally along and south of the Interstate 80 corridor. We should see snow come to an end across eastern Iowa by late Thursday night. Snowfall accumulations will be the highest across extreme southern Iowa but some uncertainty is noted with amounts so make sure to watch the video above. Milder temperatures will begin to set in late this upcoming weekend and last through much of next week.
