Snow will continue to work through the state today combined with northerly winds sustained 10-25 MPH and gusts 25-35 MPH leading to blowing snow and reduced visibility. Like mentioned before, a sharp cut-off is expected in snowfall totals on the north side of the storm system. We should see this activity taper off across southwest Iowa by mid-afternoon and central Iowa by this evening. Eventually the system will wrap up across eastern Iowa later tonight as it works east of the state. Milder temperatures will set back in over the upcoming weekend followed by more potential storm systems next week.
