A second area of rain will develop across central and southern Iowa Tuesday afternoon working north into northern Iowa Tuesday evening. The dynamics for this event do not indicate any severe weather Tuesday afternoon/evening but this second round will likely include some thunderstorms. Precipitation should taper off later Wednesday morning with this wave offering up 1-2″ of rain mainly across western Iowa west of I-35 and 0.5-1.0″ of rain across the eastern part of the state. Also watching for possible rain chances across our southeastern counties Thursday/Friday.
