Rain will continue to taper off from west to east later this morning with highs generally in the the upper 30s to lower 40s across northern Iowa, middle/upper 40s in central Iowa and 40s/50s across southern Iowa. The wind will increase this morning and through the afternoon from the northwest with gusts 25-40 MPH. We will need to watch northern Iowa for a small chance of snow Tuesday afternoon into the evening with perhaps a spotty trace of snow. Then all eyes are on potential wintry threats by Thursday/Friday across the central and southeast half of Iowa. Below is a look at the forecast radar as rain ends later this morning.
