We do have areas of patchy dense fog across the state this morning which should dissipate across western Iowa later this morning. Cloud cover is expected to increase today with highs in the 30s state-wide. We should see fog hang around the central part of the state this afternoon and become more widespread along and east of I-35 overnight tonight into Wednesday morning. At the same time our storm system will be underway across the western half of the state early Wednesday morning. We will start working in drizzle/freezing drizzle across west central Iowa late tonight which will expand into northwest Iowa overnight. Eventually all precipitation will switch over to snow Wednesday morning with snow coming to an end later Wednesday evening.
