We will see dry conditions today with highs generally in the 20s/30s north, upper 30s to lower 40s across central Iowa and low to middle 40s in southern Iowa. A potent storm system works through the plains later tonight through Friday with main rain/snow chances skirting the southeast edge of Iowa. A quick trace-0.10″ of total liquid can be squeezed out near the borders, otherwise the rest of Iowa will stay dry with this system. Temperatures turn mild into the weekend ahead of our next storm system that will bring a chance of rain/snow to the forecast area Sunday.
