Good Thursday morning! We will continue to see a freezing rain risk this morning from roughly the highway 9 corridor and points north in NW Iowa. A severe weather risk is likely later this afternoon in eastern Iowa where main threats will be hail and damaging winds but also wouldn’t rule out a tornado along the warm front. This storm system is expected to press east of the state by Friday morning. Then all eyes are on Saturday night/Sunday where another round of snow is possible across the state.
