A quick wave of snow will continue to work it’s way across southern Iowa this morning with snow accumulations trace-2″ in those areas. Snow should lift east by around midday today. Then all eyes are going to be on the weekend as another low pressure system builds across the southwest US. This will likely bring some light to moderate snow accumulation and a possible wintry mix to the state Saturday through Sunday. Looking further out…we are watching next week for more potential wintry risks.
