We will continue to see snow work east across southern Iowa this morning with snow coming to an end toward late morning. We will see high temperatures in the 40s state-wide with a northwest wind sustained 5-20 MPH with gusts ranging 25-35 MPH especially across west and central Iowa. All eyes are on a second piece of energy that will bring snow showers to west central and northwest Iowa later tonight into Wednesday morning. This wave of snow showers tonight into Wednesday likely to offer up a quick trace of snow accumulation with the potential for slightly higher amounts in spots.
