We will see a mainly quiet day ahead as much colder temperatures came in overnight behind the storm system that impacted areas yesterday and last night. We should see dry conditions through the first half of the weekend before our next storm system slides through our southern counties. Surface temperatures will be in the middle to upper 30s during this event so snow accumulation will be tough but we will track that and Tuesday could be another rainy day across the state as another low pressure system moves through the central US. Here is a look at 24 hour precipitation amounts. Some areas across northwest to west central Iowa saw a quick 1-2″ of rain over the course of the day yesterday.
