(IowaStormCenter.com) — Our next storm system will move through the Midwest early this week bringing another round of severe weather.
An upper level system will develop on Tuesday morning before quickly emerging into the central plains by Tuesday night.
Forecast solutions are in very good agreement at this distance on an expansive area of severe thunderstorm development over east/southeast Nebraska extending southward along the cold front.
The main takeaway is that this activity will drift east/northeast throughout the yellow shaded zone where these areas will be at risk for large hail and damaging winds later Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.
This area may need further adjustments in future updates, but a broad area has been introduced to encompass the threat.
