Owner/Operational Meteorologist
I have lived in northwest Iowa my entire life and developed a passion for meteorology at a very young age from a scare of thunderstorms. I began to study weather patterns and understanding the dynamics of the atmosphere when I was in high school which led to the creation of “Iowa Storm Center” in 2012. While growing up in the agriculture industry with a family-owned agribusiness, I noticed that farm operations and businesses alike were not receiving the proper insight that they needed to make informed business decisions.
In 2017, I decided to focus primarily on the consulting sector and helping businesses with a better weather forecast. Today, my company has grown by the thousands providing weather insight and high-impact weather forecasts to all our social media followers.
When I am not working, I like to travel, bowl, mini-golf and watch my cousin play baseball for the Sioux Falls Canaries. I am excited to continue this journey in providing a better weather forecast for the state of Iowa.
